Terms of Service
Last updated 3 June 2026
1. About these terms
By using this website or placing an order with DFFF 3D Lab (the trading name of DFFF LTD, registered in England & Wales), you agree to these terms. Please read them before ordering.
2. Our services
We provide 3D printing (resin and FDM), jewellery casting, and finishing, produced to order from files that you supply.
3. Quotes and pricing
The instant online quote is an estimate based on the file you upload. We confirm the final price from the file on our server before production. Prices are in pounds sterling and currently exclude VAT (we are not VAT-registered). A minimum order value of £20 applies. Spray painting adds 25 percent of the print price; sanding is included. Casting is priced at the current metal price multiplied by the cast weight, plus a casting fee, and any metal-price quote is valid for a limited time.
4. Orders and payment
Orders are placed online and paid through Stripe. An order is accepted once payment is received and an order number is issued. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if a file cannot be produced safely — in which case any payment is refunded.
5. Your files and content
You confirm that you own, or have the right to use, the designs you upload, and you grant us a licence to use them solely to produce your order. You must not submit content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, or is intended for prohibited items, including functional weapons or their parts. We may refuse any job at our discretion.
6. Manufacturing and tolerances
3D printing and casting have inherent dimensional tolerances and some surface and colour variation. Minor variation is normal and is not a defect. Parts are not certified for safety-critical or load-bearing use unless agreed in writing.
7. Lead times
Any timescales we give are estimates and are not guaranteed.
8. Delivery and risk
We ship within the UK and to Europe, and offer London collection. For deliveries outside the UK, the recipient is responsible for any import VAT, duties and customs charges. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.
9. Cancellations and returns
Because items are made to order to your specification, the standard 14-day cancellation right for distance sales does not apply once production has started. If goods are faulty or not as described, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply, and we will repair, replace or refund as appropriate. Otherwise, because every item is custom-made to your order, we do not accept returns or give refunds for change of mind.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights are not affected.
11. Intellectual property
Website content and branding belong to DFFF 3D Lab. Your designs remain yours.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
13. Accounts
You can order as a guest or create an optional account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You can delete your account at any time from your account page; we keep order and transaction records only as long as legally required (see our Privacy Policy).
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. For any question, contact 3dlab@dfff.studio.
