When should I choose FDM over resin?
Choose FDM for functional, durable parts — brackets, enclosures, jigs and end-use components — and where larger size or engineering plastics matter more than ultra-fine detail. Resin is better for fine detail and clear parts.
Which materials do you offer?
PLA, PETG, ABS and ASA for general and outdoor use; nylon, carbon-fibre composites and polycarbonate for strength and heat; and flexible TPU. Each is priced per gram — see the table above.
How is FDM priced?
By weight: each material is priced per gram and your instant quote multiplies that by the part weight, including a support allowance. Orders are subject to a £20 minimum, and prices exclude VAT.
Can you make strong, functional parts?
Yes — carbon-fibre nylon and polycarbonate give lightweight, high-strength, heat-tolerant parts. Tell us the load, fit and environment and we'll advise on material and orientation.
Do you finish FDM parts?
Light sanding is included. Smoothing, priming and spray painting are available for display-grade parts and quoted separately.
